If you look at the picture below by 20 matches we were seeing the bus being parked regularly away from home and we have struggled against this tactic, fair play to the opposition but it makes for boring viewing.

Yes I meant draws.That seems to be the problem.Parking the bus seems to have been a fruitful tactic against City on occasions.I agree that it makes for boring football and if it's any consolation we've not really gone in for it against the top teams.Could be why Chelski are the only one we have got anything from.

 

Well teams have been parking the bus against Man Utd for the last 20 years get used to it.

 

It has proved one thing we play too narrow, i am sure they will sort this during the summer.

 

I wonder how effective a tactic it is.For example if Blackpool had employed it last season would they have survived? They went to OldTrafford on the last day and tried to win.I'm not at all convinced that if they had shut up shop all season they would have got as many points.

 

I watched a lot of Blackpool games last season as they were a breath of fresh air in the PL, i loved their attacking style and the way they played with wide players, i honestly believe if they had tried to play any differently they would have been dead and buried a long time before the end of the season.
