Maybe, or you could dig up more dirt on the guy and see he is not a great character and a bit creepy.

I wonder if it's a coincidence that red bull haven't got a title sponsor for 2021 now racing Point renames as Aston Martin and Perez has good fanancial backing?
Seems like a no brainer to get a good driver and ££ in Perez?

I take your point , but RBR racing have an owner who is not exactly poor .

Dietrich Mateschitz (Croatian: Matešić; born 20 May 1944) is an Austrian billionaire businessman. He is the co-founder and 49% owner of the Red Bull energy drink company. As of 24 July 2020, according to Forbes, Mateschitz's net worth was estimated at $26.9 billion, making him the 40th wealthiest person in the world.

Small note from today was that Alonso topped the “young driver” test with a time faster than Ricc and Ocon did in quali. Track may be more rubbered in but still a good solid bit of speed from Alonso.

Hope he and Renault have a good run at it next year and beyond - interesting to see them be the lone Renault PU for a year too.

Sir Frank Williams, who built the Williams team into one of the most successful in Formula 1, is in a stable condition after going into hospital.

The 78-year-old and daughter Claire stepped away from Williams earlier this year after its sale to US investors.

"Frank's medical condition is a private matter and therefore the family will not be releasing any further details at this time," read a statement.

Williams spent some time in hospital with pneumonia in 2016.

He has used a wheelchair since a car crash in France in 1986.

During his time with Williams, the team won won nine constructors' championships and seven drivers' titles, and dominated much of the 1980s and 1990s

All the best Sir Frank .

It took a while, but Alpha Tauri have also confirmed Kvyat's departure. So presumably he's not taking on a test driver role for AT next season.

Curious to see what he does, he's another of F1's "squeezed middle". It feels like the sport at the moment is losing a generation of drivers aged 25+. You either need to be "the next big thing", already a top driver, or have billionaire relatives to stay in the sport. Arguably only Kimi, Vettel and Giovinazzi don't fit into those categories (and two of those have a world title)

If this was 2010, the likes of (2020) Grosjean, Perez, Hulkenburg, Magnussen, Kvyat, even Albon would absolutely find a seat on the grid (Barrichello, Petrov, Sutil, Liuzzi, de la Rosa, Heidfeld, Glock, Kovalainen, Trulli, Bruno Senna all did). We could really do with another team or two!

Renault have come along way with their PU, quick and now robust, another 1/2 second and it'll be challenging for wins. It'll be interesting to see how much Alonso has declined, I don't think it'll be by much.
The question is, considering Renault's usual financial approach to F1, how much effort will they put into this seasons car when it's all change in 2022?

The pit straight. Im not sure what that symbolises. Corners are usually cooler.

It's the start and end of the race though!
I thought it was a nice gesture especially as they said none of the track is named after any drivers!

Yuki will be the first driver born after 2000 to drive in F1 :emoticon-0104-surpr

He is also one of the smallest. 15cm smaller than Lando who is currently the smallest. He also only weights 54kg

Also he will use car number 22. Maybe he is a Button fan?

Maybe it just means he's half the driver Hamilton is.
