Liverpool FC ‏@LFC 1m Confirmed #LFC team v @OfficialOAFC: Jones, Kelly, Cissokho, Toure, Agger, Gerrard, Henderson, Alberto, Sterling, Moses, Aspas Not happy about Henderson starting. Think he could have done with a rest.
Heard a rumour we will be putting a team out, it's only a rumour mind so don't go quoting me. Just watched the Hammers getting absolutely murdered by Forest. Will big Sam be on his way soon.
A very strong bench too in case we find ourselves in trouble, Suarez, Coutinho and Lucas all available to come on. Hope we can remove Hendo and Gerrard on 50-60 mins if we're comfortably ahead by then. Bring on Ilori and Brannagan (who is making his first appearance on the bench today)
Looking forward to seeing Alberto pull the strings today. Hoping to see Sterling continue his run of form, I'm backing him to score 1 or 2 at least. Aspas has a lot to prove today.
Moses is rubbish, but at least Aspas can get a chance up front as the main man. Maybe not being in Suarez's shadow will help him show us what he can really offer.
Glad Aspas and Alberto are starting. Hopefully they can show their talent today. I also hope Cissokho and Moses buck their ideas up and put in decent performances, because they've been wholly underwhelming to date. Hope Kelly and Gerrard have a good game and can last the full 90 minutes. P.S. I'm very hopeful today!
Pleased with the team picked for this game. Pretty much what I would have done with the possible exception of stirling, but thats only cos I wouldnt want to risk him as often lower league teams are a bit more physical. Come on you reds!
