There is when you play them twice a year, and drawn them in the cup a fair few times over the last few years!
Not easy but I just wanted to avoid Chelsea, City, Liverpool and United for both rounds. We've done that so could have been a lot worse.
All the vulnerable people will have been vaccinated by then plus a large chunk of the population and it will be warm outside. Very good chance of fans being in stadia by May.
As I am ECV and if have the 1st jab by the 15 feb as Boris predicts .....I should have the 2nd jab by the 10th May. So yes I agree restrictions will be lifting by then.
I think half way up is the generally accepted limit. Any higher and you’re hanging on to twigs Does Libby know?
Not if no one is there to bloody witness it, no! The one major competition Saints win in my life time and it is the 1 year when the country is locked in doors... F that!
Yeah have to say that I'd find it incredibly depressing if the only major trophy of my lifetime was won when nobody could see it. Confident there can be at least some fans present by May though.
Only old vaccinated gits allowed though. Which will be fine by me, but you may not qualify! As for your general point, on reflection I'd be happy if we won it only on TV, but having been there each time we've lost a Final as well as the times when they won (good old JPT for allowing that to be in the plural) I'd happily wait for next season. But then will Ralph be at Saints? Not the kindest of draws. Arsenal and Wolves have proven difficult to beat in the last couple of years, but at least we've avoided the two Manchester clubs and Liverpool. Hoping for a run like 1976 was always wishful thinking. For those too young to remember, only one top-flight team to beat on the way, including a 4th Div side in the quarters and a 3rd Div side in the Semis. United beat some very good teams on the way to meet us, so it was no surprise they were hot favourites (tee hee).
