January signings never are. Remember the last two significant january signings we made? Horrid six months followed by both being the best in the league in their positions for years. I dont think mata was bad at all. Infact he was very good. Think he was motm a fair few timea and got goals and assists. Not much more a number ten playing out wide can do.... Now he will be working under van gaal so i expect better things from him.
was going to mention them but you edited while i had typed lol. going by that we should save our money for jan lol. what was the last decent summer signing we actually made, anyone know?
Sturridge did well but the rest were hardly inspiring. Think suarez was full of tricks but wasnt amazing. They tend tonstart slow as they are coming into a new team half way through a season. No preperation and no time to settle in. The good ones shine the year after.
possibly, so quite a while ago then by the looks of it. so we actually get more value out of jan signings when it is supposed to be harder to buy.
Skrtel is the only one that didn't make a immediate impact. Sure he only got four in thirteen but he also got a fair few assists including helping Dirk Kuyt bag the shortest hat trick in history against your boys
Better i think. Brilliant on paper to be fair. 14 games, 6 goals, 4 assists in the premier league. Not sure of suarez'
To be fair many of the games were dead rubbers and he like didnt show up v liverpool or city but regardless, they are better than i thought. For a number ten playing out wide ar a dysfunction united under 2 poor managers afrer being shunned at chelsea. Not bad at all.
What about team pact? Suarez dragged us from bottom half to seventh. Mata dragged you from seventh to....seventh!
