I think Methven was right to question their work, but not the way that he went about it. I've worked for people like him in the past and being screamed at and being told that your ****e isnt the way to get people to work harder - it has the opposite effect imo which is borne out by the poor irish lass and how she acted towards him. At the end of the day this sort of stuff should have been done in private - then you question how they have been working over the past 10 years.
What we don’t know is what went on when the cameras weren’t there. But no one ever got better at their job by having people shouting how **** they are at them. True of footballers paid £50k a week and the woman behind the till at the club shop.
