    Afternoon all.

Thought I'd throw up a thread about everyones favourite, guilty pleasure or "go too films". Stuff you enjoy or would recommend.

A left field for me. Field of Dreams with Kevin Costner. Possibly because I lost my dad when I was young

Not really keeping up to date with recent stuff but some of my favourites are Gladiator, Braveheart, Shawshank Redemption, Papillon, Kelly's Heroes, Lord of the Rings/Hobbit, Basic Instinct, Dances with Wolves, and if I want a good laugh, the Airplane films.
Probably nothing particularly different there and I've no doubt missed a few.

The good, the bad and the ugly is a fantastic 'proper' film, True Grit (the proper one) is likewise, but my favourite, which I've mentioned before is 'Blazing Saddles' :emoticon-0148-yes:

I also really like 'The blustery day' :emoticon-0111-blush

Films that don’t try to be anything more than a good yarn.
Dirty Dancing, because I remember that era and the music is great.
Trading Places for a couple of reasons. :emoticon-0103-cool:
12 Angry Men. I watched that again last week. Brilliant.
