Just watched Venom, Tom Hardy takes a great part. Still waiting for the series 2 of Taboo but no sign yet.

They are still on about a second series of Taboo. Brilliant first series, they can't stop at that. It's his dad who writes it.

I too watched both Ghostbusters 1 & 2 over the Xmas period and I agree Gb1 was perfect with Bill Murray & Dan Ackroyd with sublime performances. Gb2 was okay, not nearly as good as the first.

Good animated family film on Netflix called The Mitchells vs the Machines. It's about a family going on a road trip at the same time that there's a robot uprising, genuinely funny throughout and nice and lively for the kids who sat and watched the whole thing.

What it's really about though is the dad struggling to come to terms with his daughter growing up and not being his little girl any more which I think would hit home with quite a few. Did with me.

Watched the Banshees of Inishferran. Superb. You need a warped SoH but funny as and lush scenery.

Top Secret. 1984 film with Val Kilmer. Takes about 10 -15 mins to warm up but then its a laugh a minute with some absolute gems in it.

There were so many things. The tunnel. The boots when he was crawling across the grass. The nicknames you probably wouldnt get away with now (chocolate mousse).

The Loveless ... strange, trashy fim but somehow compelling.
