I'm bored with the board. It seems to be all we are talking about and asked about just now. I preferred it when it was about the team. Who is your favourite striker since 1986 (if you remember that far back) and why. I will stick up one of my appalling polls to go with this. If your choice isn't on it I apologise just mention them anyway. We're kind of spoiled for choice as we have had a lot of good players during this time. I was going to stick Kevin Kyle on as a laugh, but all the tic fans would just vote for him like they did Graham Roberts in my goalie poll So will Coisty win it hands down? My vote is for a guy we never really got the chance to see for a long time at his best. He got injured in a collision with Oliver Khan in the middle of his one man deconstruction of Bayern Munich. He was one of the most talented players I have ever seen at Ibrox. It's Michael Mols for me. Others did a lot more for the club, but I thought he was an absolutely outstanding talent.
Mols was amazing and but for his injury had everything to be a great for us. Av got a soft spot for Naisy. Hard working and talented.
I forgot about Negri to be honest. I thought about Salenko and JJ as well as Stefan Guivarch from that era, but decided they hadn't made the impact that the ones on the list did. Okay I know Novo is on it, but he was a huge favourite among the fans. He is probably the weakest player on the list. I also thought about Robert Fleck, but the maximum is fifteen on the poll.
He was definitely the man when it came to goals. The thing about McCoist was that he got better as he got older. A lot of the time it's the opposite for strikers. I see that someones clicked on Flo, I thought I'd put the thing on to reveal the poster's choice as well I put him on as I don't think he was all that people made him out to be meaning the guy that destroyed Rangers and all that. Here's a guy that won Chelsea the cup winners cup the season before. The price reflected the times. He comes up here and doesn't quite fit in as at the time Chelsea were playing the long ball which was the same way the Norwegian national team played too. We're playing Dick's total football at the time. Despite that Flo scores over thirty goals foe us that season. He moves on for about eight million the next season. I've seen more costly mistakes in Scottish football than Flo.
Yeah he did well. No one expected that much as he was a free and Advocaat was spending millions on the new team. I was pleasantly surprised by him.
I always thought Wallace gave his all on European nights. He certainly gave a good account of himself anyway.
