No mate, bit sketchy on the reports, but here is another one for you picked up from another forum, Dwight Tiendalli has been in intensive care also apparently , this has been kept well secret for some reason and explains why we aint seen him for ages . There is a brief thing about it on kenji Gorre's twitter account . Strange one that, surey it was just a routine hospital thing and not intensive care that has been suggested on other forums !
Somebody was saying dwight was training today, maybe just a routine operation or something ,here is gorres twitter.. https://twitter.com/KenjiGorre/media Dated march 26th , so would explain why he is nowhere to be seen on bench and why he is back in training now, weird why that was kept quiet though, you would think the club would let us know so that fans can pass on their get well messages .
He's been placed into a self induced coma to help with a neglected lung infection, he's been sick and coughing some blood, so his docter reffered him to his local hospital where he has been placed on this self induced coma for the last 5 days, so that docters can cure his infection without too much strain to his body, how come though he has a neglected lung infection? Anyway get well soon Ferrie, one of the best players to have ever put on a Swansea shirt!................
http://www.omroepwest.nl/nieuws/22-04-2014/oud-ado-speler-ferrie-bodde-kunstmati (roughly translated) THE HAGUE - Former player Ferrie Bodde ADO Den Haag is held for five days in an artificial coma. The 31-year-old from Delft Monday was very sick and had blood surrendered. That leaves among others John Kuijeren, technical director at West Broadcasting Haaglandia know. Bodde debut in season 2000/2001 for ADO Den Haag in the first division. He grows into crowd favorite. After 161 games in seven seasons he leaves for Swansea City. The midfielder begins very strong on his first foreign adventure. From his second year at the English club to play a leading role and injuries Bodde should end his career on his 29th. Haaglandia After his career is Bodde head coach of sv Wateringseveld. He is also involved with the youth and he trains the D1 Haaglandia. Now Bodde fighting for the biggest game of his life. Hope he pulls through
I like to think he put all that behind him Dragon, it was a big problem when he was at the swans (gambling) if ever there was a guy for a walk on the wild side it was Ferrie . Lets hope he gets through this and builds his coaching career .
Very true Norway and I agree with you, we could really do with someone like him in our midfield now though!.................
I can understand the concern with a lung infection. I came down with Pneumonia last month (thought it was flu for about a week) should have gone to the doctors sooner!
Has to be one of my favourite players ever to pull on the white shirt. How much bad luck can one man have. All the very best and hope you get well soon.
Ferrie was a great lower league player and nothing more but he is so fragile that he would never have made any premiership team because of it. 50 odd games in half a dozen seasons tells a story that he is not worth taken on. We had our fingers well burned with the amount of money we wasted on him. Its a shame he was not tougher as who knows what he could have achieved. Hope he pulls through...
