The festive season is upon us and it's a Christmas programme we once could only dream of having but we have four tough games ahead of us two away and then two at home and we kick it all of with the M40 derby and a trip to the three sided stadium near Blackbird Leys where nearly 2000 Chairboys will be in full voice. Gaz will be hoping that the two G's Gape and Grimmer are back after missing out last week and we are also hoping Fred will be back maybe on the bench. This will be my first away game of the season along with Slasher and the Blue Soldier we will be having a few Christmas drinks in the city centre before heading to the ground hoping the lads continue their good form and getting a result to start the festive season merrily on high ding dong
Still no sign of Fred A very attacking bench though if Wheeler,Kashket and The Beast are below par today.
If I remember correctly Aarons was a direct replacement for Fred after GA found out the extent of the injury so I wouldn’t expect him back until January at the earliest. Hopefully he will be like a new signing for the run in.
The ref handed out 5 yellows in the first half 3 to us and 2 for Oxford, he sounds well out his depth. At H/T Ipswich and Bristol Rovers are both only drawing.
So we sub Kashkett. Maybe he isn't doing too well. He is nippy but does seem a bit limited from what I've seen of him
I wasn't expecting to win this so, for me, it's only 1 point dropped. I would have taken a draw all day
Another 4 yellows in the 2nd half, gggrrrrrr! Hopefully we won't have this **** in charge for anymore games this season. On a happier note no team who matters below us have won with quite a few draws but Ipswich lost.
Coventry the only team we haven't played . They won today And to finish off the year - YUK, and no Bayo presumably for one of these And the first 2 games in Jan look just as grim It is conceivable we get zero points from these 4 games, and I reckon even that would most likely still leave us in the play offs
