Kinell, another survey, we should start getting paid for them.

Yes. If we got 5p each for each survey we filled in, we'd all be sat with our feet up in penthouse suites in Miami.

    Lets have a survey ban.

If this is for a dissertation, then it's March and if your son hasn't done his basic (and judging by this survey, really basic) research by now he might want to start panicking.

    Have a word, seriously.

Judging by both the title of the thread and the eloquent manner of the OP, I believe this man may be employed by the Hull City AFC marketing department.

Don't be daft, we haven't got a marketing department.

Don't be a hooligan. You can conspire whenever you want as long as you leave the forum for people who just want to do good surveys.

How old are these kids? These surveys seem very, well, short and sweet.

That Is the most half arsed pile of **** I've ever had the misfortune of reading. If your son's at uni tell him to pull his finger out his arse and put two brain cells together and do it properly. I've had more creative ****s.

You think I'm been harsh? I tell you, if he is gathering data like that to go towards his degree it's an absolute disgrace, try harder or you will fail and have no one to blame but himself!

    Rant over.

    Agreed.

Have you heard of sport? Yes/No
    Do you like sport? Yes/No

Even though 'please'is used by the request/demand it's contravened my interpretation of ettiquete. Combining this with the brain **** nature of the survey, the only data I'm sending back is get ****ed.

Was it Baldrick who started this questioning style?

To be fair, I didn't do my primary research for my dissertation til just before easter last year, that was the way most people on my course did it.

I guess it depends on the course and aims of the research.

That survey really is naf though.

If the lad's survey had been really good, it would've negated the brusque, ill-considered manner in which his old feller shoved it under our noses, and I would've spared the eight seconds required to complete it.

Similarly, if the lad's old feller had made a really nice post it would've negated the fact that the "survey" was - as BT998 suggested - a heap of faeces.

    FAIL.

    FAIL.

God Knows! It is due in March. When I first saw it I was shocked how brief it was. I have had a word but he is telling me it doesn't need to be detailed. I only think he made it brief as he didn't want to put people off from doing it. I can only tell him what I think. At his age he needs to take responsibility himself.

Wow, completed. 4 questions? He's not going to learn anything from this data as it's questioning is questionable!

Maybe the purpose is to see how many people will just complete any questionnaire presented to them, regardless of any actual point?

Steve, I'm with the majority here, I'm not sure what course he is doing, judging by this it must be something very basic. He is not going to get any meaningful analysis out of this whatsoever. It would therfore be a disservice if I filled it in. He should really seek his lecturers advice or ask himself if he is on a course that is right for him.

I am a strong believer in putting in time and effort, even those who struggle it shows if they have done so, something your son clearly has not.

This has got failure written all over it.[QQUOTE=Steve-WWFC;6208437]please fill this out for my sons work
