It is a weird set up the Nations League. Surely soon teams will get wise and if they lose their first 2 games, they will just deliberately lose their next games so they get relegated and have a much easier chance to win their section and qualify for the Euros or WC.

Was just reading about it and UEFA haven't decided what the winner of the group will end up with, normally it was a playoff spot.

 

I said that teams would start doing it from the very start which must be a few years ago? I suppose I have a more corrupt mind than UEFA and football teams in general

 

Would make a good GC outing.

 

On another note, my elder son thinks he is a genius because he recognised that the link was the days of the week on the wall on this week's Only Connect!

 

We already had one the last time we were in the same group a few years ago. ****, I've said too much.

 

I just watched it and it was **** hard

 

I was at that drab 1all draw in Dublin but the email for the away game with the details must have gone into spam!

 

Yeah I hate to think how hard the final is going to be

 

Big boys' groups:

Group A1: Austria, Croatia, Denmark, France.

Group A2: Czech Republic, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain.

Group A3: Hungary, England, Germany, Italy.

Group A4: Wales, Poland, Netherlands, Belgium.

 

Yeah Hungary are a real footballing powerhouse!

 

You need to have some whipping boys to ensure the big boys continue to dine at the top table.
