Hidden figures was great and the attitude to the racism by the ladies was spot on.

Just barbed enough without getting themselves lynched. I had forgotten how many great one liners and exchanges there are in that film.

Every day, I spend 30 minutes on my exercise bike in front of the TV. Finding 30 minute programs to watch while pedalling was difficult until I turned to YouTube, where I found a fascinating channel called Living Off Grid w/ Jake and Nicole. They are a 30-ish American couple who sold up their home in Arizona and bought an 8 acre block in the middle of a forest on Vancouver Island with nothing on it except trees. They've videoed themselves clearing some of the forest and building themselves a yurt - every couple of days they add another video showing their progress and the problems they face.
If you like that sort of thing, I'd recommend giving it watch - if I were 30/40 years younger I'd give it a go myself.

Alex Rider on Amazon Prime. Binge watched the whole series. Written by Anthony Horowitz. Nothing like Foyle's War but superb.

Apparently made into a film in 2016 which, despite a stellar British cast, was a bit of a turkey due to poor direction and cinematography.

Good to hear - I have that on my firestick to watch next up.

If The Fall ever finishes, that is - it seems to be neverending...

Mrs Fez was watching Alex Rider... I kind of fell in with it as I wasn't entirely sure of the basic premise. Won me over when I wasn't really paying attention, which is the hallmark of a good yarn I'd say.

I had a friend who was such a Trekkie fan she went on Mastermind with that as her specialist subject. Let us be charitable and say that it didn't exactly work out for her as she froze and only managed three points.

Having finished the Harry Potter box set we are now starting on the box set of the extended versions of Lord of the Rings - 6 two hour sessions required and just as much "extras" which we never watch.
No one has mentioned Normal People which was superb. The 2 leads should be up for gongs but boy did you want to knock their heads together! If you have not seen it, it should be on catch up.
We are also watching Mad Men as so many people have said it's brilliant - it's pretty funny in a grim sort of way but the jury is still out so far.
We are also working throught Noughts and Crosses and State of Happiness.
