After today's great win I'm going home in the car with Man U, Arsenal game on radio when commentator said something about Larsons tackle and how he should have been sent off. Did I miss something ?
it was nearly as bad as Brady's last week..................................thats the hook baited............. No,he was lucky to stay on tbh.
On the BBC news they showed a brief glimpse of our goal followed by a slow motion montage of Seb's tackle. Nasri's chop, when the ball was miles away, wasn't mentioned ......... biased as **** mate, just enjoy the win because we totally deserved it.
if you look at the foul count mancity was double ours http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24792966 did we get a corner during the game ?
Not denying they lost it as the game went on, which is another plus point for our lads they even got Aguerro being petulant. But Larssons tackle was dreadful if it had been done to a Sunderland player we would have been livid. As was Dossenas. No one views Sunderland through rosier glasses than mine, but a bad tackle is a bad tackle.
I thought it was a yellow at first but my stream was jumpy, seeing it again he was lucky. Was he booked for it?
I've now seen it (once) and it was one I think if you make that kind of challenge you are giving the referee the opportunity to send you off. If he had gone I don't think there could have been any complaints. However, the match was 11 vs 11 for the full time and Man City didn't do anywhere near enough to deserve to take any more away than they did. The focus should be on how Sunderland played when very few were expecting you to take anything from the match. Ignore the inevitable focus on 'how bad City were' as they didn't beat themselves, you beat them by stopping them playing and deserving the three points.
I didn't spot it at the game, but have seen a replay of it, if the lad had long studs, his leg might have gone.
