After the late late show on Tuesday evening next up at Adams Park we entertain the Bees who after just picking up the one point in the last four games sit 15th with 11 points after ten games but there are similarities to ourselves with a 5-3-2 record but in a different order you do the maths, we currently sit just outside the play off places but if we can continue picking up points at our present rate we should amass 80 plus points one can only hope. Gaz will be hoping Dan Scarr recovers from the injury which forced him off on Tuesday but Stewart and AEA will probably start and that could be the only change. I will be at this one hoping to see us win for the first time this season if we don't you may find my season ticket up for sale on Ebay
Guy, I think the combination of you and I just jinxes it for the team. Maybe we should stay in the Vere Suite and just peek out occasionally (pint in hand of course)
I think I may go in disguise or stand in a different position maybe on the right side problem is I'm 40 years to old
We were second best until we scored in the 23rd minute after that the result was never in doubt with good goals from Josh U and Freeman and there was no late late show this time and we leapfrog Newport to go 7th on 21pts but we have some difficult games to come this month
Guy is right. The first 20 minutes was so one sided it was unbelievable. They had a couple of clear chances to score. One I remember is a free header from about 10yds out with Brown stranded. Fortunately he directed it wide. We scored massively against the run of play, but from that point it was pretty much all Wycombe with anything meaningful. We are winning games, but cant seem to hold it together for a full 90 mins. Against Luton we started so well, then faded after about 70 mins. Against Crewe we started slowly (similar to the Barnet game). We certainly have it in us to make a strong promotion challenge if we can hold it together
