That was the idea CW. Then you can tell how much you might have won if you kept the bet or laid it off later? Not to worry, I'll change the heading so it isn't a competition
Please note I've changed the heading (and the idea) so it isn't a competition any more and also you can post bets on other Leagues. There are no rules but to have any value at all you do need to quote the odds and stake with your bet so that at the end of the season you can see how much you would have won, or lost
Premier League Winner. Blacktype are offering 50/1 for Man U to win outright. I don't think they will but I think those odds will tumble at some point. So £100 Man U to win the Premier at 50/1 with the aim of laying off the bet when/if the odds shorten
Bet365 are offering 80/1 for Wycombe to win League 1 outright. It won't happen of course but with a good run those odds could come down to 50/1. Therefore I'll gamble £100 at 80/1 with a view to laying that off at around 50's later According to Bet365, only Bolton and Bury have less chance than Wycombe. So those odds have to be false
BV offering 100/1 Wycombe. So another £100 on at 100/1. If those odds drop to 60/1 I'll lay it off to £300 which will mean if they don't win the league I pocket £100 but if they do I have would to pay out 2,100 but I get paid £2000 (ie a would lose £100). Tantamount to me saying I bet you £100 Wycombe don't win the League 1 outright. Just need the odds to shorten
Best price 33/1 now and that is with just one bookie short as 20/1 with BV. I'll lay that off already at 25/1 for £180 That means if they don't win the League I make £20 If they do win I make £420 I have £20 for nothing and sitting on a bet that potentially returns £420 for no outlay Not bad for a few days.
Down to 40/1 with some bookies but 80's still available with a couple so not yet in a position to lay off
They have got to be joking, at the end of January maybe yes, but now they can not have looked at our fixtures till the end of January
