Only 4 out of 10 Championship games still on for Boxing Day. Only 4 out of 10 League One games too. Only 4 out of 12 League Two games. That's 12 matches still on out of a schedule of 32. And if there are no more postponements between now and midday on Boxing Day that'll be a minor Christmas miracle. If we assume a similar number off on December 29th and at least some on New Year's Day, we're going to have one Hell of a fixture pile-up coming along...

Watching football as a neutral is boring, yet armchair fans rule the football world. Football is meant to be watched from a stadium, or in a park, or anywhere except your living room, with somebody telling you whether it's a penalty or not.
It was a toss up between Home alone 3 for the umpteenth time or the footy so I got my double headed coin out …….
So when are we supposed to see this improvement at Man United under new uber-strategist Ralf Rangnick? No hurry guys Pundits were queueing up to warn the other big Club gaffers to fear this man
Arsenal manager Arteta has tested positive again. 9 months after getting infected before. Bad luck I guess. But why is he still doing pre-match 'publicity'? Unless it's by video link. Don't Arsenal have anybody else who can step up and answer dumb questions from sports jounos?
African Cup of Nations - is the Race Card being played? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59825904 Ian Wright claims there was no problem at all with the European Championships, but negative coverage of players going to the African Tournament. "The coverage is completely tinged with racism" he is quoted as saying. Firstly, I would say that there certainly would not be "no problem" with players going to the European Championships if it was played in the middle of our domestic season - as the African Cup is. Secondly, I don't like at all the suggestion that any criticism of the effect players going to the African Cup and missing Club games because of it is automatically tinged with racism. Is it now not possible to debate players leaving their Clubs to play Internationals in the middle of a season without any negative comment being racist? Of course players should be proud to play for their countries. But I'm not having it that if I'm unhappy about a Charlton player going away to the African Cup (for example), that makes me a racist. All it means is I love my Club more than I love the Nations that our players come from. Regardless of skin colour. That's the definition of me being a Charlton fan. And it goes for all other fans who love their Club more dearly than other countries. I'm sick and tired of good, honest football fans being beaten with the racism stick at every opportunity. Just for not toeing the Woke Agenda line.
Radio 4's Today program had Raheem Sterling as guest editor yesterday. So it was all about ******. What would he have done without it?
Looks like the African Cup of Nations has been badly hit by COVID19... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/africa/59924747 Forced to play with just 11 men (no subs) and one outfield player possibly having to play in goal? That is hard core
