I'm not a fan of BGT.... BUT.... if I could gazillion like that I would.... imagine her parents pride.
Totally agree about BGT, I watch the early stages of it primarily for the laughs at some of the idiots that audition, and as much as I LOVE dogs I'm pretty sick of seeing them on there, especially when some daft American comes on and does 'doga' ffs! However there are sometimes rare glimpses on there of genuine talent, this young lass has that in abundance, she's totally gifted, so much so that I'd have loved her first television performance to have been on The Voice with Jennifer Hudson as one of the judges/coaches. I'm not ashamed to say that her gift had me shedding a tear or two.
Can't stand BGT. But. Frig me. How's that noise, that beautiful, passionate, controlled, soulful noise coming out of a 15 year old? Amazing.
Strange aint it? You hear people say "He/she has an old soul" but I've never seen it so strongly as that young lass.
Yep, absolutely, it's like watching and listening to one of the best of the Motown greats. I knew that there'd be a fair few on here that'd have missed her performance because they can't stand BGT, I just didn't want posters to miss out on her as she's staggeringly excellent.
She's not Motown style. More Chaka Khan as TC said. Though she has an obviously impressive voice for a 15-year-old, there's too much warbling going on for me.
Don't watch BGT, particularly the early rounds as they seem to be about laughing at the afflicted and mentally ill What does this lass do? Juggle with puppies whilst 'street' dancing ?
