Deep respect for Leicester City. In just a few short years, they've transformed from being one of 20 or so mid-sized yoyo clubs to a club of genuine stature. First, a new owner with genuine commitment and strategy. Then their remarkable title brought hope to all clubs and was a kick in the gonads to the 'establishment and monied clubs'. Today's punishment of four senior players for Covid breaches harmed the club on the pitch against rivals West Ham but, again, showed class and long-termism. One of only a couple of clubs in the upper echelons of British football that I admire.
The only thing I don’t like about them is their canned atmosphere and those stupid plastic clappers they hand out to help generate it. beers in Loughborough Spoons are a must on match days on the way In.
Poor management in the first place, otherwise the players wouldn't have felt capable of getting away with it. Can't say I have any thoughts on Leicester either way, their just another club.
