Did they win the tournament? No so they're losers. I've never understood people's delight in coming second.
No. I can sympathise and encourage teams or individuals after they have lost but I believe in winning at all costs within the rules of the game.
Well the Swans have been losers more than winners, so I gather then you are not a fan of them? Did you happen to hear Chris Coleman's interview after Wales beat Belgium?
Uefa are a ****ing joke, they let the Russians get away with what happened in the streets and in the stand, yet players bring their kids on to the pitch and the FAW are charged with it. At a time when we are trying to show the human face of football and not just these aloof stars and they do this. These comments made me laugh, UEFA tournament director Martin Kallen had earlier said: “It is a European Championship not a family party. "A stadium is not the most safe place for small kids. So please tell me why, would there not have been lots of young kids in the stands.
UEFA are a joke, how on earth can you take this lot seriously after their gross negligence and fraud at the highest level? Just goes to show what Idiots we have running these footy organisations, have no faith in them ever cleaning up their act, they have the IQ of a peanut...........
I think you are missing the point, whilst I am pleased that Wales did better than expected I feel slightly embarrassed by the over the top celebrations when we didn't win,. That actually makes us look losers. As for the Swans, who I have supported for 58 years, I hate it when they lose because it makes me feel down but the next game I feel up when they win. There's a big difference between competing in a league where you expect to lose some and a knockout competition where you need to win all.
Should Swansea have had a play off final parade? After all, we didn't win the championship? The Welsh team more than deserved it imo.
Exactly, we won the playoffs but it would have been more of an accomplishment to finish second. And the Wales team well deserved the welcome home, and looking on social media Iceland and Poland had a great welcome back celebration.
I think you are missing the point here big time, Wales not only qualified but went into the last 4 of the competion! Going out in the semi-finals with Germany!! This is the first time ever that Wales have reached such dizzy heights, and as such deserve the praise they are getting. Hopefully it will inspire the next crop of youngster's. ..........
Think what the Mags fans must be thinking watching Sissoko perform tonight. Didn't see Eder much for Swans but it's bizarre when players can put in a 'rare' performance like that?!
I was surprised too VG. Not great football but a superb result for a passionate football nation. I can see many interesting bar conversations when I go to the Algarve in September.
Team f the tournament.Fancy that Joe Allen made it in. I still wouldn't sign him though as he would be a complete waste of money, well according to some. please log in to view this image
Sorry but I think that the game v Portugal was Allen's worst game in a Wales shirt. Surely to make that team you have to be consistent in every game? Cannot understand how he's made that team, I really can't. Ramsey? Definitely.
Kiff the issue is how many players played well in every game, not many I would imagine. So it is balancing out the good games with the not good games.
