It lives in the fridge unless you’re a family or just an animal who goes through a whole pack in a few days, and you take out what you’re going to use in a couple of days and keep it in a covered butter dish. Nuance.
I don’t really like butter or any spreads come to that but I thought most people these days have spreads like clover. Aren’t they designed to be stored in the fridge, or at least that’s what happens in my house? Shouldn’t there also be a question as to whether salted or unsalted is the way to go?
Salted and keep it in the cupboard. Doesn't need to go in the fridge unless you like shaving bits off with Chiefs potato peeler.
Margarine isn't butter btw, is hydrogenated vegetable fat with colourings and flavourings. It was developed as a cheap substitute to feed the armed forces and 'lower' classes, which tells you everything you need to know.
