Nope I don't hate Forshaw or any Leeds player.

Hopefully he'll have a good game next time he plays and I'll be the first to sing his praises. Thing is, I'm not going to go overboard just because he managed 30 mins of professional football.

So McKinstry scores the winner on his debut. Magic!

I told you this guy was going to be special.

As for the others, the magic was missing, but what do you expect with the enforced reshuffle, plus a failure to make changes? By that I mean that both Rodrigo & Roberts. Couldn't we have played the tea lady instead. I believe the Welsh Wizard was playing, but can't say I noticed. How much did he cost? Did we get him at the same (expensive) car boot sale that we got the 2 Rs from? <whistle><yikes>;)

Our fans again simply different class. never stopped singing all game. :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0148-yes:<applause><applause>
In the 90 mins we should of put this 2nd string to bed simple as that. started slow but finished the half brightly but 2nd half same as Newcastle we got worse as the game went on.
Glad we are through though we live to fight another day.
Great to see some of the u23's, all can pat themselves on the back none looked out of place.
But this win doesn't hide over the cracks. still lots of work to do.
Home game next round pls against the crappiest team left in the competition be nice to have a cup run.

Yep we brought him down from Motherwell as a 16yo and I believe he had made his first team debut. He came down with his dad and they lived above WJ. Not sure if hes still there or if the noise from downstairs drove him out. He signed his first pro contract just after his 17th birthday and has been with the 23s since his arrival. He can play either wing or as an AM and I have seen him play at LB

Just read what Bielsa said in the presser and you have to laugh:
Must be pleased with Cresswell: he made a few distribution errors but did ok.
Must be pleased with the other kids: yes character and Gelhardt had missed his last penalty but he stood up and scored at a crucial time, McKinstry also
Did they volunteer to take penalties: no I chose the players and order to take them.
    What a guy, no biggy

Mmm doesn’t do much for confidence though playing it down like that, I’m a bit surprised at him to be honest.

I’ve not found anyone who wasn’t raving about Cresswell or McKinstry and how they need to be introduced more now.

If Bielsa wants to comment about errors maybe he should look at the lack of contribution from Roberts or the misses by Rodrigo, I guess I’m being unfair as he was answering a direct question.

Social media was alight with negativity towards Firpo claiming he doesn’t seem to even have basic skills of a defender so not just me ;) (great penalty though).

In all great we are through and that we came away from London with a result but from an attacking sense it was a **** show.
