Lot of rumours going around that Garner has been sacked. Don’t know how true this is.

Just seen that on CL. Makes for an odd insight if the other rumour about TS selling has legs. Why would TS pay out vompensation when he can leave it for a new guy to sort out?
If it's true, what sort of manager can we look forward to next. I imagine it'll be an unemployed one. Let's hope it's not another Karel Fraeye.

    I won't miss Garner.
For me he threw in the towel the day after the transfer window closed.
Granted he was probably led up the garden path by Sandgaard, but he isn't the only gaffer ever to be mugged off by an owner.
Granted too that his experience is limited. But he had a job to do, and basically he hasn't done it.
And he's been less than honest about JF-C.

In my view it doesn't matter which manager we get next under this owner and this landlord.
Both must be gone before Charlton begin a new era of recovery.

Wishful thinking. Never mind, it cheered me up for a few minutes.

Thomas can't afford to sack him
    He isn't Roman Abramovich.

Garner was told on Saturday apparently. It is like Groundhog Day. The problem is the owner. We have become a sick joke. Changing the Manager is not going to work. We need to change the owner and the recruitment team. We have a distinctly League two squad. I also expect us to go out of the Cup on Wednesday.

After paying off Olly Groome, and now Garner, what are the chances of TS finding a fiver behind the settee to buy a striker?
