Picked up a double fracture to his jaw after that **** of a Belgian player decided to shove Cahill who collided with Hart. Another blow, and Martin Kelly has been called into the squad. He is the sixth Liverpool player in the squad. Does not bode well, having six players from a mid table team.
6 liverpool players who would not even get on the bench at chelsea! how the **** kelly gets picked ahead of micah richards!!!!
I agree with Richards, but you still don't refuse to be a standby because of it. I don't rate Carrick and he's "retired" from international football anyway.
If you're being pushed down the pecking order behind an off-form Glen Johnson and an out of position Phil Jones, then I can understand getting pissed off with it. Carrick didn't retire, he just didn't want to be selected as a squad player. That's not right, in my opinion, but he's never picked, so I think he's got a slight point. He also said that he'd help out in extreme circumstances. Given the state of the squad, I'd say that applies.
Oh dear. Kelly wouldn't even get in our QPR team, isnt he a full back anyway? Why has a CB been replaced by a FB?
You go to richards and grovel to him because he is by far the set right back at our disposal. I would even have Danny Simpson in front of Kelly.
It's amazing how soon Roy has lost the plot, Ferdinand should be there, I'm expecting Harry Bassett to step out of he Roy Hodgson suit at the first game.
Foster/Ruddy Richards Cahill Ferdinand Smalling Lampard Barry Wilshere Carrick Bent Crouch --- You can almost make a 2nd XI with the injuries/decent left out players...unbelievable bad luck!
Ferdinand's been conspicuously poor this season. Jones, Lescott, Terry and Jagielka all deserve their place ahead of him IMO.
