http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15797290.stm Looks like it's not just the league that Brizzle Rovers are pissing all over!
well, chris-gashead did mention that they had multi talented players........I think his dog may have trained him, because he didn't just piss anywhere,he pissed on the corner flag!!.......class
i think there is a fuller story on the gas boards, but if buckle was to get the rest of the squad performing with dunfords dairy adding gallons of sour milk to the pitch, this may combine to produce an elementary sprinkler system
This whole episode is symptomatic of the ethos surrounding the Memorial ground and it's support. They frequently use language learned off the lavatory walls. No, that cannot be correct. They obviously do not know what a lavatory is!!!
[QUOTENo, that cannot be correct. They obviously do not know what a lavatory is!!! ][/QUOTE] Everybody knows a lavatory is a 'Rock Hard Conservative'...real true blues.....
It obviously takes a good manager to bring the best out of certain players. Sadly lacking down your way.
One of several, Chris - we've got a squad full of good 'uns, some of whom can't even make the bench at the moment, never mind the starting XI. And two of whom you let slip, of course. So thanks for them! Mark Wright - 20 goals in less than 1.5 seasons and loads of assists. Class is permanent, Gas is ............. (I'll let others fill in the blank).
No, he is good in a ****e league like ours. In league one, he couldn't hack it terrible player, one of the worst the gas have ever seen. But I suppose having some quality players over the years makes it hard for some donkey plonker to look good at our club. Rickie Lambert, Bobby Zamora, Jason Roberts, Marcus Stewart, Jamie Cureton, Barry Hayles, Scott Sinclair, Ian Holloway etc etc etc the list goes on Those are quality players you could only DREAM of ever having
Yeah, none of those players got anywhere near being the best in their position. It's only a matter of time before our Joe becomes the Worlds No1. So Chris, you've been Top Trumped once again.
remind me chris, how many of your squad are internationals. we only have 4 and they have to wait their turn on the bench
Scott Sinclair played TWO games for you and you let him go. Jamie Cureton played for shrewsbury too. Bobby Zamora was so good for you, that you let him out on loan twice. Marcus Stewart left Bristol and when he returned he went to City
Point? all of them still made it via Rovers All of those players are quality you could never dream of having. Shrews had Cureton on loan when he was older than AJ and AJ is about 80
how many do you actually have in your squad now, i am not referring to yesteryear deadbeats, or ex gas players, but those in your squad now!
