It all feels very dark, very ominous, GG has said it feels like we’re coming to the end of something.... i 100% agree; it really does feel ****ing bad now. What a ****ing turnaround the last year has seen Ashley, Charnley, Bruce.... it’s Newcastle ****ing United, what the **** are you overseeing.
Let's be brutally honest Newcastle is a piss pot of a city and now it has a piss pot football club to go with it.
With his new contract boosting his confidence, Dwight Gayle will now spring Newcastle to life in their remaining 9 games, pushing them to a place in Europe and himself to the top of the scoring charts after a new Premier League record of 9 consecutive matches with hat-tricks. The inclusion in the England squad was a fitting end to his season, where he'll be accompanied by his boss, as he's been brought into the England camp as a special advisor. Bruce was quoted as saying "Tactics, nah, it's all about timing. Everyone wrote us off which made it so simple to make the late surge. The falling apart against Brighton was the final piece. Told you it was going to be my way. I thought I'd let it slip, when mentioning about the gloves are off, obviously you don't wear gloves in April & May, so thought some of you might have rumbled it." From "The Tales of a Local Lad Steve" - an insight into the dreams of managers and how it influences their decisions!
If I've learned anything from 15 years of this ****housery, just when you think it can't get worse, it invariably does.
Piss pot of a city? The people at Rough Guides clearly didn't think so when they named it the best place in the world to visit in 2018.
A lot of over reaction to this. If we go down he’s a proven top scorer in the Championship absolutely what you would want in your squad. If we stay up he has a sell on value. Maybe not massive but a few million is better than zero. Everyone knows money is going to be tight for all but the top few teams this year so why let him go on a free?
Newcastle is a fairly small city but a great one. You should be ashamed of yourself. As for the football team ..............
Why? I'm proud of my heritage its a tough working class city, but I'm just being brutally honest it's a piss pot of a city. It's cold, wet and poor. There's worse cities that's for sure, but it's a small, dull place with very little to do in it.
Compared to most places across the world.. I know it's hard because it's natural to have local pride, but the Newcastle really is an undesirable place
