Neither are affordable to be honest, and you say competition but it's getting more expensive for the customers. What's the put having competition if they both overspending and trying to outbid each other and we are the ones who have to pay more for it?

And I was quite happy watching it on ITV before BT took that away.

What Matt Smith and Andy Townsend <yikes> Good bloody riddance - I'd rather listen to radio coverage than tolerate that ITV crap!

So do you recon we are paying for this? I said to my gf, I'm sure we wont get it, and when we did, I said, either They have added to our bill. which we never agreed to or signed for them to up our payment. So I dunno what is happening. I didn't expect this for free, but I never agreed to pay extra...

I don't really listen to commentators a lot tbh, but I just think it's a shame it's not on a freeview channel anymore. As I said before, I know a lot of people didn't like ITV coverage, but it was better none nothing imo.

Only if you got BT sports free with broadband. You should have got a letter or email telling you how to opt out. You can always go to your account online and check your next bill to find out.

Ah, We got a letter, I thought it was about what they offered this season! I didn't see anything about having to opt out of anything!

I think you will find that you have to 'opt in' to BTsport rather than 'opt out' unless they've changed their policy within the last month.

Indeed - plus the FA getting away with bottling it once again <doh>
Hardly sets a precedent to other clubs to say " we'd better make sure we stay within FFFP or they'll throw the book at us"
I just hope that £8m is used intelligently as opposed to the £24m parachute money we forfeited by going straight back up - which was divided up among clubs wealthier than we will ever be <doh>
****ing incompetence makes my ****ing blood boil!! <grr>

    Possibly because
    A) I'm up early (for me)
    b) it's carnival day in Cromer today, so the entire town, pubs, shops etc will be 15 deep with kids, people from Leicester, and as the day wears on, silly balloons and - even worse, those poxy vuvuzela things <yikes>
    c) I could pin it on the male menopause, but Resurgam will tell you those days are long gone! <ok> <laugh>

Aaaaand breathe normally. Wow, that's better :emoticon-0105-wink:

It made me laugh that after they had lost the race, they declared they had lost interest in Pedro! <laugh>

I laughed out loud when I turned on the radio and it said "Pedro has signed for Chelsea"! A whole summer of Man U dragging this out, stumbling towards the line. Then Chelsea just swan in and take him!

They did exactly the same with Tottenham and Willian a few seasons ago.

Wasn't Salah off to Liverpool too? I guess stopping a rival signing someone who'll improve them is almost worth the risk the player isn't really needed at your own club.

Also, it makes sense to add quality players when they're available at a sensible price. Arsenal were mad for turning down Fabregas for the same reason.
