Here's my team of "stars" who either never quite made it or were ..... errr..... kerapp. Theo Australia Dijks Netherlands Passlack Germany Miquel Spain Yobo Nigeria Amadou France Fotheringham Scotland Pattison South Africa Muzinic Yugoslavia Strihavka Czech Republic Hartson Wales
Didn't we have some awful Australian striker under Rodent on loan? But I think Theo wins for rubbish Australians. David Healey from NI did nothing for us on loan, maybe we could have a rubbish loans team
I just looked it up we had 3 Australians playing for us in 2008/9 all were signed by Bryan Gunn all were on loan including a striker who was there for half a season and made 4 substitute appearances and no goals the other two made 4 and 9 appearances so between them we had 3 ****e Aussies who played 17 games between them then he signs an Aussie goal keeper the next season, oh dear! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008–09_Norwich_City_F.C._season That was unbelievably bad season, team management and squad!
Nice goal by Pukki - going to his left on the left side of the box, he pulled it back to his right foot and put the ball into the roof of the net. Hanley nearly gave away a penalty close to the end. Don't know how Toddy got MoM. I didn't see him do too much. Is it sad that I watched this? And enjoyed it? https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwi...etwood-town-live-in-fifa-tournament-1-6574495
Zagreb had 3 earthquakes on Sunday, most severe 5.0 Richter scale. Plus the ongoing covid-19 crisis. Every little helps
Big game today: Stevenage vs Norwich (7pm) in the Quaranteam Tournament. I believe it will be shown live on Norwich City's Twitch site. www.twitch.tv/norwichcitytwitch
We were the brighter team in the first half. Pukki off target with a long chip shot. He should have scored. Ended in a draw 1-1. Now what?
A re-match. Todd wins the second leg! Norwich comes back from 1-2 down to win with Pukki strike on 90 mins. I don't know if my heart can take more of this. Pukki at the double with Vrancic tying the game at 2 all. Simeon Jackson had at least one, maybe two goals for Stevenage. What a game! We still pass too much to the opposition. Just like real life.
The Quaranteam Tournament continues today with Norwich at home against Standard Liege in the round of 32. Cantwell's Norwich are 50-1 to win the tournament, while Standard are 14-1, making us a big underdog for today's game. Let's all get behind Todd and the team, and wave those flags! Game time is: Thursday, March 26, 7 p.m. GMT (although yesterday's game started at 7:30 GMT.) Streamed live at: see the link in msg 12210 above.
I have been searching all over the internet this morning, for news and footage. No wonder I couldn't find anything. Thanks a bunch CS. At least it gave me something to do. Lockdown is so boring, plus there is a total alcohol ban here in the Philippines. Might send Mrs GE out to steal some.
Sorry GE I looked for the match for over an hour on Thursday and finally gave up. It wasn't til this morning that I found out the game hadn't been played yet. My sympathies on the alcohol ban. We have guns in the U.S.; they'll never take our booze away!
The Norwich City Twitch channel is on. Maybe the game will start on time today. Todd is up against this guy: Quentin 'ShadooW' VW @RSCL_ShadooW Professionnel @easportsfifa for @Standard_RSCL Officiel Edevils @belgianfootball Belgium champion On The Ball Todd
