Interesting if true (it comes from the Stun). https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...-out-premier-league-parry-billionaire-owners/
Yeah I saw that. I wonder how much of the 'wealth' is locked up is assets such as house, business and how much is in 'free cash' that would be a far more interesting graph. I thought Norwich were going to be bottom, but I didn't realise Luton was fan owned and had forgotten about Wycombe
Makes all our recent promotions look even more impressive - just imagine if we had the backing of anyone in the top half of that table!
Not sure I understand the logic here. Have all the teams "with the backing of anyone in the top half of that table" appeared regularly in the EPL and have brimming trophy cabinets? I would have thought that the conclusion to draw would be that having an owner worth a billion or thereabouts guarantees nothing in terms of on field success.
Anyone else noticed since "no crowd" games resumed there is less time added to games? Coincidence or what?
Nottingham Forest have appointed Chris Hughton as their new manager after sacking Sabri Lamouchi. Forest have lost their first four Championship games of the season, with Saturday's 2-1 loss to Bristol City leaving them 22nd in the table. They failed to win any of their last 10 league games under Lamouchi, collapsing spectacularly at the end of last season to miss out on the play-offs. Hughton, 61, has taken his first job since leaving Brighton in 2019.

Why, with no fans to cater for, are midweek games still kicking off at 7.45? Surely a slightly earlier time would make more sense, allowing the club to return to home base at a more reasonable time.
