Just watched "Bohemiam Rhapsody" again and was struck by how much like Josh Sargent the actor playing John Deacon was.
Harry Toffolo looks like joining Notts Forest in the EPL next season (along with Huddersfield teammate, O'Brien), according to the BBC. Harry if true.
Declan Rudd has been at the training ground, I wonder if he is going to be added to the goalkeeping coaches or is perhaps shadowing Ed Wooten while studying for his coaching badges. Edit: To answer my own question, he is gaining experience for his coaching badges
After the recent set of departures, the club have made some changes to the squad numbers for a few players, as summarised below: Ben Gibson will take on the number six shirt vacated by Zimmermann, who earlier in the week departed for SV Darmstadt 98 following five memorable years at Norwich City. Andrew Omobamidele switches from squad number 44 to four, whilst Adam Idah will now wear the number 11 shirt for the season ahead. Sam McCallum, who returned to City from a season-long loan at QPR, has moved from number 31 to number 15. Jon Rowe will now wear number 27, after having previously been assigned 41.
Premier league starts tonight. Just checked Sky sports news online. Eight EPLStories, golf, a couple on boxing and, oh, other sports...Commonwealth Games. I'm guessing they do not have the TV rights for this minor insignificant event.
I considered putting this on the Arrivals/Departures thread ............... you might classify it as either. Question: how many of us have subscribed to PinkUn+ ? So far, the only poster I've seen even reference it, is Bure?
It implies a degree of uncertainty, with a request for confirmation or otherwise. You've provided the "otherwise", for which thanks.
At £2 a month, it's had the opposite effect on me in that I now pay less attention to the Pinkun. I currently pay half that for The Athletic, which covers two sports I want coverage of, not just one club. Half the Pinkun articles/links now seem to be designed to drive attention to their app and not give you a full article, and some of the "tactics previews", etc I've seen advertised as a taster of the app look like nonsense. The comparison with The Athletic is obviously not an easy one for the Pinkun, but when it's one of their existing journalists giving tactical analysis a go, versus the likes of Michael Cox and Mark Carey specialising in it, it doesn't look like a bargain.
Ben Godfrey stretchered off for Everton after 10mins with what looked like a very similar injury to Gianoulis today
