Watford have sacked another manager in Rob Edwards this time...Slavan Bilic rumoured to be taking his place https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63034556
I seem to remember someone from the Watford board last season arguing that Norwich get through more managers than them . They are just a soulless franchise their owners have no love for the club .
Seem to remember they were very specific about when they picked a time from when Norwich had a lot of turmoil and a couple of caretaker managers
This will either give the players a boost and they'll improve or the new guy has until December to win most games or he's fired too. It's a crazy way to run a club , instant results or death. Even after a horrendous season last year most of us were willing to give Smith time to redeem himself , still not convinced but I don't want to rip everything up and start again in September.
Jeez, Rob Edwards was a real sucker, wasn't he? Wins promotion with Forest Green, then trashes his reputation there with a move to Watford, who assure him that they want stability and "they've changed". A couple of months later and only a point outside the playoffs, he's sacked. It's such an unattractive job for a manager, you've no time to implement anything remotely tactically complex, it has to be straightforward and work immediately or you're gone. And if the players don't like you, or aren't in the first team right away, you know that they know they can wait a couple of months and a new guy will be along giving everyone a fresh start. What's the point working hard?
Sounds like they could have big problems at the top. The sporting director was rumoured to have been sacked at the start of the international break with Rob Edwards taking on more responsibility. However rumour has it that the owner didn’t agree with the decision and decided to reinstate the SD and sack Edwards
They are a joke. Surly a broke Ex pro that gambled his money away should get it next. It could be a sort of Watford charity

How long before Norwich City Women get to grace Carrow Road? https://norwichcity.myfootballwrite...-norwich-city-women-get-to-grace-carrow-road/
Full financial breakdown here. Interesting that loaning out the likes of Onel, Hugill, etc last season brought in £6.4m. I suspect largely that's offsetting their wages, but still.
You'd have to assume (read: pray) that the wages figure will drop significantly in 22/23 with relegation clauses etc too.
Gerrard has been binned at Villa. Dean Smith a lowly 25/1 to take over. Pochettino favourite apparently.
