Agreed. But the idea of Lewis and Charles on the same team is very mouth watering! Only 2 drivers on the circuit who have the ability to challenge Lewis in the same car - Charles is one of the two.

I think a lot depends on Toto . IF he stays at merc I think.lewis might . If Toto goes , which I think is likely, I see lewis going to ferrari esp if lewis matches MS next year . Imaging going to ferrari and trying to get your 8th WDC ? Not saying he will . As you rightly say ferrari struggle to run one car let alone 2 .

While Margaret Court's views are not exactly what we want to share, does anyone here begin to feel that those so opposed to her, are collective bullies?

 

Well, she is a bit extreme. I don't know the full extent of the opposition she receives, but her views are of the nature that are guaranteed to spark a few radicals off in their own polar response.

I mean for example, I thought we'd got past the view that gays and lesbians are the work of the devil. Margaret Court thinks they are just that.

 

I feel uneasy about the modern suppression of any thought that isn't mainstream. Just one example... a female academician has been threatened for expressing a fear about allowing transsexuals who are intact males into female changing rooms/toilets. Discussion has always been part of life….it is how decisions are arrived at and compromises made. I suspect that most threats are merely made by internet warriors and no real threat is imminent in most cases, but it is enough to alarm people and suppress opinions. Opinions don't go away....they just don't get stated out loud.
