Wow, Mercedes completely outclassed Red Bull in qualifying. Verstappen, not only was he miles behind Lewis, isn't even on the front row! Wasn't expecting that!

 

Lots of slightly naughty behaviour occurring. Love it.

 

Funny thing is it was all completely unnecessary as the track was better for the first lap!

 

Kind of. Lewis had no intention of driving a sensible final lap there, but I wholly approve of pissing Red Bull management off.

 

Lewis on mediums, Max on the softs tomorrow at the start - I would suggest if Max doesn't get past Bottas sharpish he's going to be in a whole heap of trouble.

Agreed. If Lewis is ahead after lap 1, the result will be inevitable (barring any issues with the car) IMO.

Yes - definitely. I think the fact that he was looking at the ball saved him, but not jumping at all was crazy. If he’d jumped it might have gone down as a collision ….

I agree - Nigel Owens said he wouldn’t have given it - seems the Springbok mind games versus the officials worked.
Faf de Klerk should have seen yellow for his shoulder charge and the officials are going to HAVE to do something about all the talking back, appealing and play- acting (by both sides). Lions lost because the bench were simply not good enough and the back three couldn’t catch anything. Simple as that ….
