Wish I’d seen it now. No way is AJ winning the rematch, just doesn’t have the tools to beat Usyk. Fury and Usyk will fight for undisputed in late 2022, in the meantime hopefully Whyte can challenge fury. God knows he deserves a shot. Whyte vs Wallin, now there’s another discussion altogether…
Gonna try and find a reply on saints player. Sound epic. I can not see AJ beating Fury whenever that may happen.
Was a good fight, Wilder looked gassed from round 2 but showed ridiculous heart (or just proved what people have said for ages that Fury can’t punch) AJ would get battered by Fury as he is a slight upgrade on Wilder as a boxer but without the same one shot power. I fancy him to win the rematch with Usyk though, not sure why just a gut feeling
In another success story for British tennis, Norrie becomes the first Brit to win the Indian Wells title, the most prestigious non-slam event.
His path to success seems completely opposite to ER , whereas she has burst onto the scene , Norrie has been on an understated path building his game over a number of years and performs well on all types of surface.
Both Bottas and Hamilton finish first practice nearly a second clear of Verstappen in 3rd. Mercedes have certainly found some extra pace lately.
Looking forward to the race tomorrow. No offence to Perez, but we needed a front row of Lewis and Max. I'm betting on contact between the two going into the first corner!
Guessing that he's going S/H/H, which might not be a terrible strategy if they think that tyre deg makes a 1-stop difficult. Get in 10 maxed-out laps, then hope to make up ground when all the medium tyres fade, and have the option of going M later in the race if his second set holds up. To be totally blunt, Ferrari isn't competitive with McLaren these days on pace, so the only way to finish above them (and have any chance at third in the standings) is to guess right on strategy, so I don't mind it even if it backfires.
