So, or recently me and my bird have developed a strange addiction to the program ghost adventures. Just as a disclaimer I have no opibion of any paranormal events and sit firmly on the fence. Do you guys I believe in this sort or thing? Some of their findings are very interesting and **** creepy. Think it's all bollocks? Had any personal experiences? Discuss
You can watch Ghost Adventures on Youtube (up to series 7), IF you believe in ghosts, you must believe in god, because there has to be something in control of the spirits. I believe in ghosts .
I am very interested in the paranormal although not totally convinced. I would love to see a ghost I'm into Urban Exploration which is purely down to the spookiness of it all I think My sister used to say stuff my grandad said but he died when she was less than 2 years old. She also used to stand waving at where he used to park his car and say 'look, grandad is there', she also said that in her bedroom (the room he died in) he would sometimes be in there sitting on his chair smiling at her. This was all at a young age but ask her about it now and she still maintains it is all true Once she'd moved out my stepdad ended up sleeping in the room and he said he woke in the night as he felt someone prodding him, he is a total non believer but when half asleep you can experience all sorts. I could tell it freaked him out though Anyway, when its halloween does your bird go knocking on folks doors saying 'Twick or tweet'?
I'm definitely skeptical or if you prefer, sceptical (traditional British English form, but somehow looks wrong) about all things paranormal. Of course I can't say for sure that something doesn't exist, but I'd need far more unequivocal evidence before I'd believe in ghosts, alien abductions, worldwide illuminati conspiracies, etc.
She's not allowed to be out on her own My little sister used to zone out and claim she had a whole different life (when she was about 8), it was freaky as she tended too become entranced with it then suddenly she'd snap out of it. I maintain there there is something abnormal with that house as anyone who ever visited felt like some one was watching them. I'm pretty much the same, very interested but not convinced. There's too many inconsistencies, eg loud bngs but then not being able to push something light. Definitely some hard to explain **** in some cases though.
Unfortunately can't comprehend it anymore, used to be really into the subject when I was younger but it's a firm 'no chance' for me now. Wish I did still believe in it all in many ways. I'm still very interested in the power of our brain and the imagination it has when someone slips in that a room or house is haunted etc
Exactly, which is why I'd love to see one. Some derelict buildings I've entered I did expect to see a ghost but always with someone else, dont want to see one by myself There is some proper amazing finds in old derelict buildings you know, dont steal or move anything obviously, leave everything as I find it but Urban Exploration is awesome. Get some great photos as well Some places have been set upon though, stuff ripped out etc. A shame
I was a Police Dog Handler in the RAF, part of my job was to check secure containers throughout the night most of those containers were housed in bunkers and generally out of the way places that could be considered creepy. However I was walking round witha big nasty German Sheppard a pistol, a rifle and lots of bullets so to paint the picture there wasn't a lot I was scared of. Again to paint the picture I had done the majority of the checks and had done all the so called creepy places, the last check was in the office area of a hangar the lights were always left on and therefore not creepy at all, as I'm walking up the stairs to the offices I'm messing with the big bunch of keys trying to find the right one, not really paying any attention to anything when all the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I had cold feeling all over, the dog growled and then whined and pulled back away from the top of the stairs. I looked up shocked not knowing what was going on, nothing there I shook it off and went to go forward but the dog was terrified something which I had never seen. I left quickly.
I was a young man, my friend auntie who lives opposite our house was sick in the hospital. I visited her few times in the hospital. The hospital about 10 miles away, it was about 6pm I was playing with my friends outside our house and all of us saw a woman running to my friend's auntie house (which was locked). We went there to see whether it was an intruder and there was no one. Surprisingly the house was still locked. About 30 minutes later her, husband came tell us that she was dead. Surely it was her ghost we saw.
I think this whole thread is just for magic to show off he has a girlfriend never seen or heard anything. Always comes back to the whole, if there were ghosts, why don't we ever see any dinosaur ghosts?!
No. Have people seen unexplained things such as spectres and whatnot? Probably. But in my opinion ghosts are more likely either apparitions from alternate dimensions, or possibly in areas where the space/time fabric is weak or manifestations created by electro magnestism brought forth by human beings in areas where extreme emotional distress has been experienced. Though admittedly I am no expert. But the idea that the apparitions being witnessed are spirits of people that are dead, is ludicrous to me. Thats just my opinion.
