A good point but very disappointed to see Cannon dropped. I know Evans scored but I feel his capabilities are known. I do not think we will know Cannon's potential until he gets a run of consecutive games. It will not be revealed by two or three starts on the trot followed by a couple of months of the occasional 20 minutes from the bench. I had got the impression his energy, if not his quality, had been the ingredient of an improved mid field recently. However, to give Jackett his due, Evans and Bass's selection may be a rotation in the light of the current fixture congestion.
