I'm not very confident going in to this game. I think some changes are needed up front, and we lack strength at the back with such a young team. Maybe we could switch the likes of Jackson and Ogilvie as the front two and stick Oliver and Samuel in defence....you think I'm joking, right?....ok, I'll shut up now Gills 0-1 Marquis after he comes on as a sub, and Bonham gifts him the ball.
Don't joke - do you remember** when Nyron Noseworthy got put 'up front' ? He couldn't stop scoring --- Perhaps if O'Gilvie scored a few goals, we could actually ask hard cash for his transfer fee --- instead of a bag of carrots ! ** of course you remember -- you can remember as far back as 28th February 2012.
mustfrog - I'm not sure if you know the significance of 28th February 2012... It was the night when Gils beat Hereford 5-4... We were 0-2 down. Then we drew level at 2-2... but then found ourselves 2-4... before we fought back to 4-4... Then, in the last minute, Hereford got a penalty - which was saved..... and seconds later Gills had a scramble in the Hereford penalty area -- from which we scored the winner.......................... and brb missed it (( not that we've let him forget ))
Well Saturday, MK will be on the move to higher grounds very soon. I felt before the match we went in. EASY 3. They had the last laugh. We looked weak at the back and could have been 5 down at half time. Never really looked like we had what it took in the box to score albeit lots of hard work to get the ball into the box. We are just over 3-1 to win at home according to the bookies. BIG ODDS for a team doing well at home. Stats show 17% away win 33% draw and 50% home win. It's another dockyard derby which is always close we I feel have the upper hand if we hit them from the first kick of the ball If we sit back thinking. We are the home team. Trouble ahead. Heart says a draw. But If we turn up. MKB 2 v 1 Posh. ( Olgovie and Samual and Harrison)
