is anyone else glad that we did not get involved in the money go round that happened yesterday? The only good thing that will come out of what happened is the if we do fail to achieve top 4 this season and a couple of players want to go....then at least we will get some decent money for them.
I'm not happy that we didn't manage to sign a new top drawer striker. I am very happy that we didn't spend stupid money on gambles.
Problem is, who could we have got for less than ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã35m who would have improved us?? This transfer window lark is a bloody joke. It was supposed to even things up across the clubs. It's just making it worse.
Yep, I cannot believe we didn't go for that one, he was the one transfer I've wanted for months now. Still would have been a bit of a gamble, but who wouldn't have been?! I was seething when I heard LFC had got him but at the time I thought "its O.K we must have someone else lined up"
