His voice is going. It's just old-age. And been so guitar-based it's difficult for The Who transpose songs into a lower key unless you tune down all guitars a full tone
Fair point, I really love the Who, just hate to see them being presented in a humiliating fashion. Nobody deserves that
Pete Townsend made an apology at the end for the poor sound quality. He said they did there best. Many younger bands can only dream of being that good at any age. Roger Daltry has had his best day and many of them down the years but his worst days are still better than many others good days. Why ? Their dignity was hardly an issue ether. Zack Starkey is no Keith Moon but can still play the drums. I will be surprised to see The Who still playing Live after 2015 though.
What about a group of millionaires in their 70's getting paid hundreds of thousands, to play songs about youthful rebellion, to a bunch of middle-class, privileged folk has anything dignified about it?
