Does anyone know anything about this Wackers fish and chip restaurant opening in the old Elephant & Castle pub on Holderness Rerd? please log in to view this image
It's been shut for years, it had a lot of problems with drug dealing apparently. It was going to be a Mother Hubbard's fish and chip restaurant (there's one in Scarborough), but it seems to have switched to something else now.
There's a great chippy on North Shore in Brid. Right on the beach, best fish and chips I've had for a while.
I know we've had the discussion on what chippy we all think is best, but after having my usual Carvers patty and chips at fair it got me thinking where does the best Patty forget about chips or fish just purely on the patty where is best to go
Yes, they are very good. Recommended them on here some time ago. Nice place to eat them on a sunny day.
Had fish 'n chips twice this week. Once in a local 'semi-gourmet' pub, excellent, the batter was really light like tempura. The other was in Harry Ramsdens at Woodall services on the M1. It was cooked to order and while the chips were average the fish was as good as I've had.
Just been by there. Still open teatime on weekends. Mild evening so a few sat outside. Lucky really, that place is only a couple of minutes from where I live, so is 149 another excellent fish and chip shop so always have a good option.
Typical I'm always behind Who are these Hdm readers I don't know anybody who reads it anymore. I think there like blow jobs, people go on about them but finding one seems impossible.
