Very good idea. There must be quite a lot bubbling away off the pitch. Sooner the team realises they are a team again, not "them" and "us " as it's been for the last 4 managers, the better for the club. The real solution will come next season when most of the "us " clique are farewelled into the sunset. Then we can hope to see most of our players on level wage deals, less friction, less jealousy, and a lift in morale and spirits. Now all we need is for AVB to chill out a bit, especially with the press, and away we go.
In the days before the Prem, these little mid-season breaks used to be a regular thing in the club programme! I think our involvement in Europe and PL and both cups, means there has been a midweek fixture nearly every week! Lets hope it does them all a lot of good!
Well it has been obvious the team has settled into small groups and individuals, even a polar bear can see that.
