Honestly I don’t think they’ll allow it to get to that point. Even the government must know that Chelsea brings in a huge draw from across Europe and the world.
With no good reason they would be forcing the club out of existence. They’re in control of it now so can allow it to operate without any money going to Roman. Given his stance on things I’m fairly certain he would be happy to see this and eventually sell.
I’m furious though that a decent owner has been ousted who has done nothing but good for the club, the community and the country.

 

Given the bungling ineptitude of some Government officials could they just cut out the middle man and send us down to the Championship - alternatively if these clowns are determined tie our bootlaces and freeze our account just everyone walk out and scuttle the ship.

Chelsea have basked in the glory that was made possible by vast sums of really dirty money. Sadly, their fans couldn't care where the money came.

Chelsea have basked in glory because Roman has pumped millions (billions according to some) into the club but the government is now worried that he may try to boost his fortune by taking gate receipts and merchandise proceeds?

The man put the club up for sale with all profits going to a charity for Ukraine and even wiped out an estimated £1.5BL loan and you think he's going to nick the profits from the sale of a few hundred shirts per week

 

And you’re aware of exactly how he made his money are you? Did you see the the contracts he made? Did you speak with him directly? Is it only Abramovich who made their billions with so called dirty money or do people like Bill Gates get chucked in with this too?
The reality is that everything he has done for the club, community and country would beg to differ with your opinion of who he is and what he does with his money. The sanctions in place are not a punishment to him. Roman doesn’t care about the money, otherwise he wouldn’t have said all proceeds would be going to Ukraine.
They only hurt the community and the people within the club, but that’s ok because it suits your agenda.
