Why is it that your chairman Bruce Buck, one of the trustees to who Abramovich has supposedly handed control, or Marina Granovskaia, the all-powerful director, not appeared to answer any questions?

Maybe it's bcos if they did, they'd open themselves up to some scrutiny and accountability?

Maybe they are not accountable and do not requre scrutinising and are focusing on how to keep the club afloat and not making any assumptions based on hearsay and they are trying to make the best of a bad situation. As I said in an earlier post, dig deep enough you will find dirt. Look in your own cupboard. Be surprised what you find.

Except they're throwing your manager under the bus every time he does a press conference. Should he be answering the questions your chairman and director should be?

There's no "maybe" about it. Your heirarchy have questions to answer.

It's clearly evasion and avoidance by them because they know they'll be asked a lot of awkward questions.

I think the rumours of Chelsea's demise are rather premature tbh. Wouldn't be surprised if the govt use this as an opportunity to have fan representation on the board. Personally I'd like to see a big points deduction. 20points should be enough to put them below us, but lets say 30 to make sure.

The reality is we will come back with a wealthier owner.

who will probably own it as an investment rather than a plaything.
I still believe it will be a Tory donor that ends up with it.

Evening gents, Ipswich fan here, sorry the fans are suffering as a consequence of geo politics. Couple of questions id be interested in:

What’s the view on Bruce Buck? He’s seemingly hiding and Tuchel is left to train the football team and be front of house for the senior management team?

I imagine you’ll go to a British buyer for political expediency but Boris seems keen to cosy up to the Saudis despite their executing people en masse so I imagine their safe from sanctions and free to buy. How would u feel about them coming in?

My view on Bruce Buck is that he’s a great bloke, I met him to speak to - there’s an air of calmness and intelligence about him. If I had a business I’d put my trust in him to run it well. As for Thomas Tuchel, actually, what a marvellous position he’s in - no owner to moan if things don’t go to expectation and no one to sack him.

Buck is a real mystery man, despite years at the Club. Based on him not having made any gaffes I'm aware of, and the success of the Club, I'd have to thing he does his job very well, just haven't a clue what that is !!!
Boris will say yes to anyone who gives him gifts, funds, holiday houses to use, and especially large amounts for his Political advancement. The Saudis tick all of those. Personally, I wouldn't let them into the Country let alone own anything. They are barbaric, murderous, savages and you couldn't pay me to go to their poxy country again.
1 day in the airport was enough for me.

Sadly that’s a pretty short sighted view on the Saudi’s. Sure their human rights record is poor but so is America’s. In fact most countries record is awful. You don’t have to look too far back in history to see that Britain let millions of Bangladeshis starve so that British troops could eat.
I don’t mean to detract from the footy discussion. I think our next owner will be a British based group and hopefully they continue in the same mould as Roman did.

Not short sighted at all, just facts, go back in history you will find atrocities committed by most nations, but this is now not hundreds of years ago, we must learn from mistakes and put it right, stop making excuses based on history. Let's all punish the Normans for invading Britain or the Romans oh it's all the Romans fault. The Egyptian's were a bad lot too, how far do we go back before we move forward.

Indeed, I think the scandanavians should pay us reparations for all the Norse invasions!
    The Normans too, they invaded.
Americans owe the native americans and the african americans, Israelis owe the palestinians, and so forth and yada yada.
    What a load of horseshit
