According to the local papers. I hope its a one year deal at reduced wages. The fact that he didn't sign right away leaves me hope that its not 40k plus. http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/green-agrees-new-qpr-deal-7401871
I think he probably signed a new deal on the same terms The delay could have been due to the fact he would have wanted to consider all options before signing which you can't blame him for.
I thought Green was one our best players last year, pleased to hear we have signed him for another year.
I'm afraid I'm with flyer. He never fills me with confidence. On his day he can be great but is prone to some awful errors and more than you'd expect from a prem keeper. However I think other areas need more investment first. I'd happily have Cesar in but I'll trust the management team if that's right for the club.
He has glacial movement which means he hardly ever gets near shots, even 30 yarders which bounce 3 or 4 times before trundling past him. Just watch how long it takes him to dive and how few saves he makes that he has to dive for. I'd say he was OK in the champ and thus will be poor in the prem.
Happy about this and hope it means Cesar is going, not that I dislike him in any way or think he is a bad keeper just can't afford both, learn from our mistakes. I also think Green had a good season for us last year.
Better attacking line ups against him, more clinical finishing, we're likely to be under the cosh even more. Errors will be punished more.
Thoroughly deserved. Caesar always seems to parry the ball as he did against Germany which ended in a goal.
Im pleased with that. Fully deserves a new deal - he performed very well last season and was superb in the final at Wembley. Also has a good relationship with the fans.
Great news, a two year deal and this thread clearly shows that Flyer is utterly clueless! Flyer doesn't like him therefore he is useless!
