It's simple enough, following your team is more important to some people than others, who find they spend their time in other ways. Could be anything from playing the saxophone to bird-watching to ****ing while watching Lucy Worsley.
My sax playing always frightened the birds away. Even that great intro to The Working Hour by Tears For Fears. They weren't having it. Geese would actually attack me.
£130 for me. I understand everyone can't afford, but I've had arguments before about this. Apart from Fulham I've done every away game this season , I've done the same money when going Millwall , reading to Barnsley and Wigan. I seriously think I'm different to 99%of other fans. Games like boro away to me are a proper away day , I don't think of games in Londo n as an away day. Last season I done Barnsley and Shrewsbury away but didn't bother with peterboro because I'd done them 2 games.
Wigan is one of the best trips of the season. Cracking town with decent boozers, and a £1 pie shop. I have to correct you on being different to 99% of fans, it's 99.9%
Great thread, thanks to Elf's and Lardy for all the pics. Proper football this, played and watched purely for the love of the game.
To say in advance, my work commitments to various Saturday mornings and a couple of arrangements made before the sale, this means I will not be attending many aways, 3 at most.
Here it is then... In the best tradition of holiday postcards not reaching the UK until after the people who send them, here's Elfs' Brazilian Travels special; The ARENA PANTANAL Home of Cuiaba Esporte Clube and venue for Chile v Australia during the 2010 World Cup Finals... Brazil, you know we were the first to play, what became your greatest game...
I have been here before but as Mrs Elfs was getting her hair done I thought I'd nip across the road. A very bland ground, f*** sitting here for 90 minutes in 35 degrees. Once again, many to @lardiman in helping me to increase the ever growing amount of members being able to enjoy the travels thread.
