Does he go out on loan again or come off the bench for us? I'm not a fan of Shakira and hope she moves on and I feel Elliot would be perfect coming off the bench and having an impact. Yes he's young so shouldn't play too much but I think he's ready for some games for us.
Bench. Proved he can play in the championship so no point going back to that level for me. unless a prem team wants a loan then stay and play off the bench. Lads got bags of potential. Big fan
Yeah I think a 6 month loan at a prem club playing decent football would be really good for him. Someone like Leeds, Brighton, villa? Unless klopp has some plans to use him, no point him playing reserve team Football for a season after a year in champ.
Agree with Bisc. A 6 month loan to a prem club or use him off the bench. Possibly Brentford, they can learn how to play top flight together.
I think he could do a job. He couldn’t be any worse than Origi or shaq from coming off the bench. If he’s going to be used then keep him around and get him involved. Let him learn from Salah and mane in training, he might not have that long left with them if they move on within next few years. Could be invaluable experience
Jones needs to up his game he knows the formation and what his job is but tends to play within himself, go have fun lad.
Trouble is, we aren't a great place for a creative CMs to be. We have work horses in there and rely on the FBs and front three to create.
I see him as a bit of a hybrid, he can put the effort in but also has skill and I'd like to see him use it in and around the box more.
On Elliott think it may depend on who requests the loan as think we may be , rightly , quite picky where we send him . So if an appropriate loan offer doesn't materialise he stays around the team and plays in our short cup campaigns with the odd cameo in PL and possibly more then that in CL group stages .
