True hero and got the wounds to prove it. You'd like to think we'd all be brave in his shoes but few would - that man has probably saved quite a few lives and deserves to feel proud. More of that would help in the dirty war we live in :emoticon-0148-yes:

Any Wall fans that can get hold of him please PM me and I will pay for him to go back and enjoy the meal he was supposed to be having and that is a genuine offer :emoticon-0148-yes:

All joking aside, if there is such a thing as a Wall forum and you can get me his details, please do. He can have a decent meal on me any time - this country needs that sort of bravery right now, and that of the nurse who went back to help the injured and died herself, and the doctor who finished his shift and turned round and went back to work when he realised something serious was going on and even the chap that made himself out to be a hero by throwing things at them - they've all done more than most of us in this bitter situation.

Hooray Harrogate and funny remarks aren't going to solve this.

You miss my point a bit champ. Consider you a proper mate and understand laughing in the face of adversity but, for the first time in my life I am truly worried about something other than pimples and my girlfriend shagging someone else.

Maybe OLOF's WW3 title is a bit dramatic but he's not a million miles away from reality. I am 49 and, if I go, so be it but, at the moment I look at my kids and hope they live and have kids etc but it's far from certain. Not in the old WW2 sense but things are worrying, if someone can hire a van and run people over and then stab the onlookers they can do in 8 minutes what Peter Sutcliffe took 6 years to do and I'm not being glib.

All the more reason for wanting to thank someone who has actually stood up to this lunacy rather than have a forum debate about how to solve it!

So you can bookmark it and I don't know what political persuasion this makes me, I would :-

Round up the 3k on the known problem list and do something with them. I don't mean ask someone else to deal with it, I don't mean fill our prisons up, just do something permanent one way or another. And I don't mean start art classes or something, I mean cosmetic testing on humans rather than rabbits.

Round up the 50k on the watch list and refer them to ^^^^^

Make border entry unbelievably difficult and tell everyone both of the above apply to them.

Then, see how Marcos' plan works before electing another public school Labour or Tory politician :emoticon-0148-yes:
