What the hell?! Totally changed my opinion of the man now. Obviously not much loyalty evident from leaving Dover. Wasn't bothered then but different when it happens to your team!
Who's gonna be assitant now? Southall step up or an external appointment?

I think exactly the same, Southall will get the job. Hendon is out of order but this shows he is not loyal, he has done well to get the job at West Ham as he is not that highly rated. We should get compensation, just wonder how much.

not amazingly angry about this he has gone for better pay and let's face it a better job. Good luck to him :). As much has I like trigger I don't want him as assistant. This is a perfect chance to bring in someone who is good at tactic's and formation's and is a pro of the game. Hessy is a great motivator but think we need a assistant who is more of a pen and paper man.

very very odd if its true. not sure what to say really. not sure how much of an influence he was last season and therefore how much he will be missed. hopefully we can get some compensation or something and that can be put towards a new striker and assisstant although they may well be promoted from within

Not fussed he's gone as in my view he wasn't the greatest tactician in the world. Wouldn't have Southall as assistant.

Why all the slanging of Henden when if you were given the chance to go to a bigger club for better money you would do the same. I would like Iffy to come back.

Well this has come right out of the blue!

We need a tactician to replace him... no idea who! I quite like the idea of Iffy returning.

I absolutely agree on the tactician views. Hendon and Hess were slow to make adjustments in those last few games last season which in my view cost us the points at home that would have seen us in the playoffs. Southall rarely communicated with the players during games so I would be surprised if he was appointed.

All the guff about loyalty needs to stop. In fairness he has the chance to work with Allardyce at one of the biggest clubs in London. Good luck to him. Everybody has to make a living eh?
