Next up at Adams Park we entertain the Gills managed by pantomime villain Steve Evans who I'm sure will keep us entertained if the game gets dull until he gets sent to the stand. The Chairboys will be looking to maintain their 100% league record at AP with a fifth win of the season the Gills have won two games in the league this season one at home and one away.
Gaz will be without Horgan and Kaikai who are away on international duty so that will give other members of the squad opportunity to shine.
I will be at AP again for this one looking for the lads to continue their great form at home and another great day, hopefully not going two goals down before we get going but I'm hoping we can score another four<cheers>

I am off to this one with my Grandson if he doesn't change his mind. The last game my Grandson saw was two years ago, September 2019 when JJ scored a hat trick.against Lincoln.

    Team news
Nick Freeman (knee) remains the only long-term absentee for the Chairboys, while young defenders Jack Wakely, Max Ram, James Clark and Chris Forino are all carrying knocks that kept them out of the midweek game at MK Dons in the Papa John's Trophy. Dominic Gape is fit again, having come through Tuesday's game unscathed, while many first-team regulars were rested in readiness for the league battle. Sullay Kaikai and Daryl Horgan are away on international duty.

Not with the Grandson up in the Frank Adams stand at the back it's a treat for him & he can see everything, the problem with the family enclosure you can have a problem seeing. We will be in the Caledonian Suite from just after 12

Probably as strong as we could be. I wonder who will be further forward, McCleary or Hanlan.

Yes if it wasn't for greeny's lot <laugh>

Finished chores for the day and find us 2-0 up and a missed Gills penalty <party>

I'd like to see another goal though (3-0) as 2-0 is a worry that if they pull one back they will throw everything at us; and I don't like those situations

Up to 2nd on the same points as Pl.ymouth but we have a game in hand. We won our 7th consecutive home League match today which is a record since we joined The Football League in 1993. <cheers><cheers><cheers>

Gillingham didn't offer much, apart from being very physical, Akinde is a poor man's Bayo. Was there a little bit of gamesmanship from Scowen before the Penalty. We really could have got another four today, hit the post & bar as well.
